This ancient Celtic symbol is deeply rooted in Neolithic history, with a lineage that extends back around 6,000 years and would be a familiar and symbolic icon to the early hunter-gatherers who once inhabited the Gower Peninsula. This ancient emoji meant something to them. It is revered as a sacred emblem embodying the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and it can be found all over Europe where prehistoric structures exist.
Our ancestors left behind a treasure trove of physical evidence in the form of burial chambers and dolmens that are scattered all across this rugged peninsula.
